What should I expect from my SilkyHead Pillowcase?

What should I expect from my SilkyHead Pillowcase?

You heard the hype, you took the leap, and invested in your first 100% pure Mulberry Silk Pillowcase..... Now What?

First of all, you go Glen Coco! Investing in a Mulberry Silk Pillowcase is an investment in yourself and one you won't regret. But I can hear you asking "Now what?".

Well buckle up because I'm about to lay it to you straight. No, you are you not going to lay down on your shiny new silk pillowcase and wake up looking like J.Lo (who btw sleeps on silk AND on her back to avoid wrinkles 🤯). Sleeping on silk isn't a 'quick-fix' and it's not going to reverse how your consistent 11pm bed time and 4 coffees a day (guilty) affects your body.

BUT...

Sleeping on your silk pillowcase consistently is when you are going to see and feel the greatest benefits.

Reducing that frizzy, tangly bed hair is probably the first thing you will notice and something that will continue to improve due to no longer sleeping on a surface that was constantly drawing the moisture and oils from your hair. Plus the silky surface itself will do wonders to preserve you luscious, styled locks overnight.

Same goes for your skin, your natural moisture and oils are going to better do their job and help keep your skin hydrated and healthy. Don't even mention that expensive night time routine with 5 different products, you've taken years to get right, only to end up with how much of that product being absorbed in to your pillowcase!? Allow those products to absorb into your skin and then lay down to sleep knowing they'll stay where they should and really get your moneys worth.

Those who suffer from asthma or eczema and other sensitive skin conditions should notice benefits in their own time. The gentle surface of a silk pillowcase can be really soothing for inflamed and uncomfortable skin as it's non-abrasive. Asthma and allergy sufferers may notice some respite from those nasty symptoms that can be induced by pillowcases harbouring mould, mildew and fungi as silk resists the growth of these as well as repelling mites.

So all in all be realistic with your expectations...

YES you will benefit from sleeping on a Silk Pillowcase.

YES you can notice some benefits quickly, while others you won't necessarily 'see' but can be assured they're there doing their thing.

and YES your new SilkyHead Pillowcase you have invested in is voted no.1 Silk Pillowcase by myself and J.LO! (okay maybe not J.Lo) but definitely by me, and my 3 year old who is now happy to have her hair brushed in the morning without a fuss!

Off to make another coffee
